Designer Ida Hasri Johnson
Hasri Collection specializes in high-end,
hand crafted jewelry designed by Ida Hasri.
Ida grew up in a natural art environment on beautiful
Belitung, a small island in Indonesia. Since an early age,
she watched as her mother would beautify house-wares by
painting intricate designs on them. She also saw her take
simple fabrics and create stunning bed covers, or make
pretty dresses for her and her sisters - Ida's mother had a
definite gift and seemed to be born an artist. This early
experience left an indelible impression on Ida.
After working in administration and rising as a young
executive in Jakarta, Ida always felt like something was
missing. It was only natural for her to answer to the artist
inside her. In 1997 she moved to California and a few years
later she formed her company, Hasri Collection, and is now
doing what she loves to do - creating art so people can
enjoy it and feel beautiful.
Ida makes her jewelry using timeless designs, with a focus
on detail and constructs each piece using only quality
components. She puts her heart into her work and it
reflects - overall her jewelry is made with a lot of love and is
very special.
